Derrick Henry Establishes a Franchise TD High.

In a game played in Houston, where the team was originally known as the Oilers, during Week 8, the two-time NFL rushing champion overtook Eddie George and Earl Campbell.

The touchdown king for the Tennessee Titans right now is Errick Henry.

With 6:31 remaining in the second quarter of the Denver Broncos’ 17-10 victory over the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium on Sunday, the two-time NFL rushing champion became the team’s all-time touchdown leader. He ran it in untouched from one yard.

With that touchdown, he broke a tie with Eddie George, who scored 74 from 1996 to 2003, and reached his 75th career touchdown. Henry tied Earl Campbell for second place all-time entering the game, one shy of George’s record.

Henry broke the record in 93 games. From 1996 to 2003, George played 128 games for the team, and from 1978 to 1984, Campbell made 91 appearances.

Henry’s second rushing touchdown of the game broke the record. It was the 19th time in his career and the second time this season that he had scored multiple rushing touchdowns in one game.

He is the first player in NFL history to score two or more touchdowns on the ground against a single opponent after doing so against the Texans for the past four games. He has scored 11 rushing touchdowns against Houston in his career overall. Henry has crossed the goal line more often than any other team, with 14 allowed by Jacksonville.
