Preview: Virginia Cavaliers vs. Louisville Cardinals.

Louisville is 3-5 when a new starting lineup is employed. The team has used eight different starting lineups. Out of their initial roster of fifteen players, the Cardinals have started twelve different players this season.
Louisville is about to play its fifth and final game in a row against the top six ACC teams: NC State, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Duke, and Virginia. Together, those teams have a 28-11 record in league play.

The Cardinals are 43-for-105 (41%) from three-point range in the last six games. After only managing it in two of the team’s first ten games, Louisville has achieved a positive assist-to-turnover ratio in six of the previous nine games. For the past six games, the Cardinals have shot 45% or better from the field.
Of the 29 Division I head coaches in the nation, Tony Bennett of Virginia and Kenny Payne of University of Louisville were selected in the NBA Draft. Payne was chosen 19th overall by the 76ers in 1989, and Bennett was selected in the second round by the Hornets in 1992.
