TORONTO — In 2024, three new coaches will be added to manager John Schneider’s team.

The Blue Jays revealed their entire roster on Friday, with Matt Hague taking the lead as the team’s new assistant hitting coach, Carlos Febles taking over as third-base coach, and John Lannan taking over as mental performance manager.

Coach of first base: Mark Budzinski

Hague has been a Minor League hitting coach for the Blue Jays since 2020. He was highly regarded by the front office and began his tenure at Class A Advanced Dunedin before moving on to Double-A New Hampshire and Triple-A Buffalo. His promotion to the major league ranks, which was previously announced by general manager Ross Atkins on January 3, follows the Blue Jays’ below-average offensive output from the previous campaign.
