Who Will Finish Top Scorer for the Canes in 2023–2024?

The Carolina Hurricanes’ stat sheet might get a little crowded at the top this season because they have a few young, offensive stars.

Many people are betting on the Carolina Hurricanes to win the Stanley Cup because they are one of the best teams in the NHL, but who will be leading the team in scoring this year?

Sebastian Aho had led Carolina in scoring for five straight seasons prior to Martin Necas’ 71-point season as the Canes’ leader last year.

Will Aho win it all back, or could this be the year that Andrei Svechnikov has a breakthrough season and wins everything?

Recently, Hockey News projected point totals for every NHL player. With 80 points, Sebastian Aho led Carolina’s scoring again, closely followed by Andrei Svechnikov (78) and Martin Necas (74).

Necas leads for a second year in a row according to ESPN’s 2024 Fantasy Projections with 73 points. But projected at 72 points, Aho and Svechnikov are right behind him.

Aho appears to be the top scorer for the Carolina Hurricanes according to BetMGM, where the line is 72.5 points. As there are no other Hurricanes with scoring odds, we’ll go with him.
