Breaking down Eagles’ pending free agents in 2024

The Eagles had a dismal 2023 season and were eliminated quickly from the wild-card round.

In 2024, the team will see a number of changes, including the addition of two new coordinators. But the dressing room will also see a lot of modifications.

This season, the NFL’s window for legal tampering will open on March 11 while the official start of the new league year will be on March 13. The Eagles will have sole negotiation rights with all of their pending free agents through March 11.

Here is a comprehensive list of every one of them going into the off-season:

Offense

OL Jack Driscoll: Driscoll was selected by the Eagles in the fourth round of the 2020 draft out of Auburn. Over the course of the last four seasons, he has proven to be a valuable depth player. Over the course of the last four years, he has played in 54 games with 17 starts, while never developing into a starter due to having to play a variety of positions. Driscoll participated in all 17 games and made one start in 2023. While he did occasionally play guard while in Philadelphia, for the last two seasons he was the Eagles’ backup right tackle and had to step in when Lane Johnson was sidelined.

WR Julio Jones: With 13,703 receiving yards, the future Hall of Famer leads the NFL in this category as of right now. The 34-year-old was signed by the Eagles in October, but he didn’t really contribute anything to Philly. Jones caught 11 passes for 74 yards and 3 touchdowns in 11 games (4 starts). Jones had three catches for 22 yards in the playoff game in Tampa, but he was concussed on his final play, a 14-yard catch. However, Jones deserves credit for holding onto the ball.
