Green Bay Packers’ 2023 Draft Requirements.

The most recent mock draft by Ryan McCrystal projects the Packers to select Dalton Kincaid (TE, Utah) with their first round pick (#13 overall).

In his most recent mock draft, Brendan Donahue, another mock draft expert, projects that the Packers will select Dalton Kincaid (TE, Utah) with their first round selection.

Entering his fourth season, Jordan Love will have his first chance to lead the quarterback room after Aaron Rodgers was formally traded.

There’s not much information available to predict what Love will do. In three seasons, he has completed 83 passes for three touchdowns and three interceptions.

Against the Chiefs in 2021, he did receive a start and finished 19 of 34 passes for 190 yards, a touchdown, and an interception.

There are a few justifications for optimism.

To start, the Packers appear to have some faith in Love’s potential as evidenced by their willingness to let Rodgers walk.

Secondly, Love’s story has been covered much more favorably lately than it was in the beginning of his career. Veteran Packers beat writer Bob McGinn penned the team’s letter in February.

If the Packers exercise Love’s fifth-year option before the May 1 deadline, they could send yet another powerful message. If Love struggles this season, that would put him on the books for $20.3 million in 2024 and severely restrict their options.

Though Love is going to be the starter this year, it might make sense for the Packers to add a veteran. It remains to be seen if that holds true over time.
