“I am worthy to be traded” Louisville Cardinals basketball star insisting to leave the team due to…
KY – OUISVILLE The Louisville men’s basketball team is going to play Syracuse in upstate New York in an effort to start a winning streak after recently ending their protracted losing run.
The Cardinals defeated the Seminoles 101-92 in a barnburner, outlasting Florida State in large part because to Ty-Laur Johnson and Brandon Huntley-Hatfield’s breakthrough games. Not only was it UofL’s first win in the series at home since Jan. 20, 2016, but it was also their first win versus FSU since Mar. 7, 2018.
Regarding the Orange, their first season under head coach Adrian Autry got off to a great start, but during the past month, Syracuse has experienced a little lull. After defeating LSU and Oregon to begin the season with a 10-3 record, Cuse has now dropped five of their last nine games, most recently in a crushing defeat to Wake Forest by a score of 99 points.
Louisville and Syracuse will meet for the 32nd time in their history, with the Cardinals holding a 19-12 series lead. But since joining the ACC, they’ve only been 4-5 against the Orange, and they’ve lost the previous two meetings, the most recent one being on January 3, 2023, at the KFC Yum! Center, by a score of just 70-69.
