Atlanta Hawks Release Injury Report Ahead of Matchup With the…

After losing to the Los Angeles Clippers last night to cap off a six-game homestand, the Hawks will travel on Wednesday for the first time in a long while. They will play the top club in the Eastern Conference in Boston tomorrow after taking on what may be the best team in the Western Conference last night.

Fortunately for the Hawks, Atlanta’s injury list, which was made public prior to their game against the Celtics, is not as extensive as it has been at other times this season.

While Clint Capela (left adductor strain) and Mouhamed Gueye (right low back stress fracture) are sidelined, De’Andre Hunter (right knee injury management) is likely.

De’Andre Hunter looked great against the Clippers Friday night, even though he was still limited in minutes. With 27 points on 10–12 shooting, including 3-5 from three, he led the Hawks and also contributed to a strong defensive performance.

Gueye’s injury was updated by the Hawks today:

“The College Park Skyhawks’ forward Mouhamed Gueye (right low back stress fracture) has resumed reduced practice. This week, he is on the road with the Hawks to carry out his recovery schedule. We’ll update his status as needed.”

Due to a sprained right elbow, guard Jrue Holiday is listed as questionable for the Celtics.
