Five Denver Broncos players who might be in their final season in 2024.

After being redesigned by Sean Payton and his staff to better suit the kind of football team they want to field, the Denver Broncos roster in 2024 should look very different. In all honesty, Payton ought to start making amends for a lot of the things that Denver General Manager George Paton has done.

Paton, who had a terrible track record in free agency and had little success in the NFL Draft, has been in charge of a roster that has drastically declined since he took over in 2021. The fact that Paton was not fired at the end of the season is actually a little confusing, but that might change. As the NFL’s 2024 offseason approaches for the Broncos and all other teams,

This is something the Broncos will also do, which may result in a number of players leaving the team in 2024. Which players, out of those who are probably still on the roster, might be playing their final season for the team next year?

Five Denver Broncos players who might be in their final season in 2024 1. The RB Javonte Williams.

It was a terrible move for George Paton to trade up in the 2021 NFL Draft in order to select Javonte Williams. Williams missed the majority of the 2022 NFL season due to a serious knee injury, and he has yet to surpass 1,000 yards rushing in a season. Given that Williams was not at all an effective runner in 2023, I do believe the knee injury was still bothering him.

Although the Broncos may still believe that Javonte Williams can become the player he once was, they may now see him more as an RB2. In my opinion, the Broncos would not seize the opportunity to sign him again when his contract expires in the upcoming offseason.
