Report: The Missouri Tigers football key player is suspended from all sports for placing a bets against….

Commissioner Greg Sankey’s announcement of the league’s yearly income allocation on Thursday served as a pleasant reminder for the Missouri Tigers of the reasons behind their move to the Southeastern Conference over ten years ago.

As of August 31, 2023, the fiscal year 2022–2023 finished, and the league is dividing $741.0 million. In addition to the $718.0 million that was given out straight by the conference office, institutions who took part in football bowl games in 2022–2023 kept an additional $23.0 million.

After deducting the bowl fees that each member kept, the league office handed an average of $51.3 million to each institution. Naturally, Missouri participated in the Cotton Bowl.

More money was received in 2022–2023 than was given out in 2021–2022 ($721.8 million). The average payment to schools rose from $49.9 million in 2021–2022 (excluding participant-retained bowl money).

Revenue from postseason bowl games, the College Football Playoff, the SEC Football Championship Game, the SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament, and NCAA championships make up the entire payout amount.
