“You will all miss me”: Florida State Seminoles football star have agreed to a $95million deal with….

Realignment has occurred while the Seminoles pursue a potential league exit and the legal back and forth between FSU and the conference continues. The Seminoles’ board of trustees filed a move to dismiss the lawsuit the ACC filed against the school.

Florida State contends in the motion that the ACC’s lawsuit against it is “fundamentally flawed” and that the conference participated in a “race to the courthouse” to be the first to bring a lawsuit against FSU.

The school further alleges that, among other things, the ACC failed to demonstrate Florida State’s trustees’ approval of the gift of rights as needed by state law and failed to get the two-thirds member vote necessary by the conference’s constitution.

If the lawsuit is not dismissed by the court, Florida State requested that the ACC’s lawsuit be put on hold in favor of the school’s lawsuit against the league.
