In this New York Giants 2024 NFL Mock Draft, needs at offensive line, wide receiver, and cornerback are addressed.

The New York Giants have four picks in the top 70 of the NFL draft, which puts them in a strong position to bolster their roster through the draft in 2024, despite a disappointing 6-11 season. The Giants could look to improve in many areas of the roster as they underperformed this season after finishing 9-7-1 and making it to the divisional round in Brian Daboll’s debut season as head coach. The purpose of this Giants mock draft is to examine how they can strengthen their roster going forward, starting in 2024.

They definitely have quarterback in play on the offensive end of the ball. They still need to consider their options even after Daniel Jones inked a huge 4-year, $160 million contract last offseason. Whoever starts at quarterback for the Giants in the upcoming season and beyond, the supporting group must significantly improve. The offensive line was a total bust this season, and they still need wide receivers because of Andrew Thomas.

They are going to adopt a new defensive philosophy for the upcoming season following their split from defensive coordinator Wink Martindale. Although they don’t currently have nearly enough depth, they seem like a talented team that could target any defensive position group in the 2024 NFL draft if the value is right. Let’s dive right into this New York Giants mock draft without further ado.

If the Giants don’t select a quarterback in this draft class, they still have a good chance of adding a high-caliber prospect to their offense who can contribute right away given the talent at wide receiver and offensive tackle.

For good reason, many experts rank Joe Alt as the best offensive tackle in this class. At 6-foot-8 and 315 pounds, Alt, a two-time All-American at Notre Dame, has enormous size in addition to good foot quickness and balance. This, along with his adept use of his hands in run blocking and pass protection, elevates him to a very high ceiling and high floor ranking for a prospect.

The Giants desperately need help on the offensive line. While it wouldn’t solve every issue, it would at least provide them with very good offensive tackles. Evan Neal, who struggled in his first two seasons at right tackle, could then be moved to guard in the future.
