Throughout his extensive time as an NFL head coach, Jim Mora was not afraid to voice his opinions on a wide range of football-related subjects.
In response to Hall of Fame kicker Morten Andersen’s assessment of the current status of the New Orleans Saints on Thursday, Mora unleashed a vintage tirade. The 88-year-old was present at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium to witness his former team lose to the Los Angeles Rams 30–22.
When Mora appeared on the postgame show on New Orleans TV station WDSU following the game, it was asked if he agreed with Andersen’s assertion that “Saints fans deserve better than what we saw tonight.”
