“LIFE OR DEATH SITUATION” The Dallas Mavericks star player fears the worst as life threatening injury.
The Oklahoma City Thunder lost to the Utah Jazz 124-117 on the road on Tuesday, but they will be nearly at full strength when they play the Dallas Mavericks at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
The Thunder (35-16) will play the opening game of a road and home back-to-back this weekend against the Mavericks (29-23) after a rare three-day vacation. Both teams have changed since the trade deadline.
The Thunder’s new acquisition will have to wait a little while longer. Gordon Hayward’s OKC debut is scheduled for following the All-Star break.
The Thunder and Mavericks will play each other twice this season. The last time, on December 2, OKC managed to escape with a road victory despite Dallas’ 30-0 run.
