Who knows what the Chicago White Sox will look like in 2024 at this point? What will the initial rotation consist of? Will the starting lineup have the same look as it did this year?

Once more, who knows? Three players who could play for the White Sox in Arlington at the 2024 Mid-Summer Classic are listed below, based on the current roster:

1. Burger Jake

What a journey Jake Burger has had to make. Burger’s story is among the inspirational ones in the baseball world to be studied.

Throughout his time in the minor leagues, Burger sustained two Achilles tears. He even acknowledged to himself that he considered giving up. It’s unfathomable to consider that Burger would not have been among the White Sox’s best sluggers in 2023 if he had followed through on that decision.

For a long while, Burger has the ability to be a dominant power hitter. Jake Burger has the potential to become one of the best hitters in baseball and earn an All-Star selection if he can improve his bat control and patience.

Burger has had an excellent year overall in 2023, especially considering that he didn’t join the team at the start of the season. It will be interesting to see how they handle him once Yoan Moncada returns from injury because he has shown he belongs in the starting lineup every day.

After the first half of the 2023 MLB season, Burger has hit 19 home runs, second on the team only to Luis Robert Jr. It’s so easy to support this guy. I hope he continues to develop into a better and better baseball player for the Chicago White Sox every day.

Burger may still be in his prime because he is only 27 years old.
