Unbelievable: After Quarrelling With the Head Coach, The Las Vegas Raiders Key Player Departed From the Team.
Tom Brady is getting closer and closer to becoming a limited owner of the Las Vegas Raiders; NFL Network reports that he has gotten past the last obstacles that stand in his way.
When the league’s finance committee convenes in New York on March 4 or 5, Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of NFL Networks reported that Brady’s investment is anticipated to be examined. Final approval would occur during the NFL Annual League Meeting, which is scheduled for March 24-27, assuming all goes according to plan.
The main cause of the delay was the necessity for Brady and his group, of whom Tom Wagner, co-founder of Knighthead Capital, is a member, to boost their financial commitment in order to reflect the Raiders’ correct valuation.

Sportico stated on Thursday that the amount needed to be increased because certain owners believed Brady’s suggested contribution fell short of the Raiders’ existing valuation.
It was revealed last May that the seven-time Super Bowl champion had first expressed interest in the Raiders. The estimated worth of Sportico in Las Vegas is $5.8 billion. Brady’s group is anticipated to purchase 10% of the company, with Brady holding a 7% share.
Brady has provided majority owner Mark Davis with advice in the meantime regarding things like the team’s search for a head coach and the hiring of Antonio Pierce to bolster the staff.
Brady and Wagner have partnered on transactions for Birmingham City, an English soccer team, an auto racing team, and a Major League Pickleball franchise, so this is by no means their first investing attempt.
Brady’s career will come to an end and he will start his player retirement from the league should his ownership finally be approved. Owners are not permitted to own equity in teams.

It seems like things on ESPN got a little heated today.
On Sunday NFL Countdown’s Super Bowl episode, Adam Schefter provided a thorough story regarding the Cowboys’ intention to appoint Mike Zimmer as their next defensive coordinator. Following that, Rex Ryan, the former coach of the Jets and Bills and candidate for the Dallas position, contested Schefter’s reporting.
Ryan stated, via CBS Sports.com, “I’m not so sure Zimmer has that job right now.” “I have my doubts about that. To be really honest, I don’t think that’s true at this time.”
This is the exchange captured on camera.
Any studio program would be lucky to have everyone in agreement on anything like this. Ideally, a solution to the problem is found in advance. Having a purported teammate disparage Schefter in his report is unjust, especially considering that Ryan most likely anticipated what Schefter would say before he did.
Still, Ryan feels hopeful about getting the job.
“The reason I was out for seven years was I had never called another head coach,” Ryan stated. “I gave Mike McCarthy a call. I did this because, should I decide to go back into coaching, I want to be on this [Super Bowl] stage, to have a shot at that. With this roster as it is, I believe the team could be right here [at the Super Bowl] in terms of offense, special teams, and defense. I can also provide a slight upgrade in these areas. That’s why I found it intriguing. I would only return to coaching under the appropriate circumstance. If anything isn’t quite right, I’m not going. I believe individuals would be interested in this job because this team is intriguing since they are so close to breaking through that barrier.”
In conclusion, Zimmer will take over as the Cowboys’ defensive coordinator going forward. Unless he isn’t.
