Smith is coaching in Friday night’s Rising Stars Game, according to Qerim. But when shooting hoops with Dallas Cowboys standout edge rusher Micah Parsons, who will also be playing in the game, the outspoken ESPN presenter hurt his ankle.
According to Qerim, Smith and Parsons were playing basketball when the linebacker ran him over, necessitating Smith’s hospitalization.

“And literally I was about to pull up, just shoot it, I literally bust my ass, I mean, feet flying in the air and everything, BOW… it was like I was sliding in the third base.”
