Canadiens weekly notebook: Sam Montembeault receives his ring, Kaiden Guhle is knocked out, and more.

The Montreal Canadiens’ three worst weekends were not losing twice, not letting Tyler Seguin score twice on his own on Saturday, and not conceding a touchdown to the St. Louis Blues on Sunday.

After taking a hit from Marco Scandella late in the third period on Sunday, Kaiden Guhle was left lying motionless on the ice with the Blues already leading 7-2. Guhle was seen wincing in pain and skating to the bench with his left arm tucked tightly against his side.

With the team off on Monday, the Canadiens did not provide an update on Guhle’s condition following the game, and it is unlikely that we will before Tuesday’s morning skate. However, it did not appear good.
