Let’s face it, though: Lawrence and the Jaguars will tie the knot, either this offseason or the next.

With Josh Allen and Travon Walker on the team, none of the moves made by the Jaguars over the last few offseasons should lead anyone to believe that the team would be willing to use a first-round choice on an edge rusher. Perhaps as a means of gaining leverage and providing insurance for Allen, the Jaguars choose one in the first round, much as they did with K’Lavon Chanson and Yannick Ngakoue in 2020. However, the odds are against it.
