“I am worthy to be traded” Ohio State Buckeyes football star insisting to leave the team due to…
It turns out that Corey Dennis is not going to attend Utah, despite early hints to the contrary. His wandering offseason continues.
The former quarterbacks coach at Ohio State has been appointed as an analyst at Mississippi. He had previously committed to the Utes for a comparable position.
Dennis’ name appeared in the staff directory for Ole Miss football on Friday. The hiring was later verified by the program to The Dispatch.

After coach Ryan Day appointed Bill O’Brien as the team’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, Ohio State chose not to keep Dennis, who had led the Buckeyes in quarterback plays for four seasons. Day stated that Dennis was anticipated to continue working on the initiative in some capacity in the press statement announcing O’Brien’s hiring.
O’Brien left to take over as head coach at Boston College three weeks later. Chip Kelly, a former UCLA and Oregon head coach, took O’Brien’s post.
After interning in 2015, Dennis—the 31-year-old son-in-law of former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer—became OSU’s quarterbacks coach in 2020, taking over from Mike Yurcich. Dennis collaborated with signal callers Justin Fields, C.J. Stroud, and Kyle McCord.
Additionally, Dennis played a key role in the hiring of quarterbacks Air Noland, a five-star prospect for 2024, and Tavien St. Clair, a four-star prospect for 2025.
