BREAKING NEWS: Ohio State Buckeyes has finally ……
Josh Proctor, a safety for the Ohio State Buckeyes, thinks the position room will have one less player than normal.
Proctor informed media that he anticipates Sonny Styles of the Buckeyes to move from safety to linebacker prior to the 2024 campaign. The NFL hopeful used Styles’ accomplishments in the weight room and his laid-back demeanor in that capacity as proof of his theory.
Proctor stated, “Sonny’s probably going to be a linebacker.” “He continues to gain weight. He seems like he would feel at ease there.
Proctor also praised Styles’ intelligence, stating that it would allow him to play any position on the field.
Proctor remarked, “He’s a physical guy.” “He is intelligent. He is familiar with the game. He is aware of everyone’s defensive position. He’ll do the work anywhere you can put him.
After new Ohio State safeties coach Matt Guerrieri declared he would be testing the Pickerington, Ohio native all over the field, there was conjecture that Styles may switch positions.
“We’re going to look at a number of different things for him and put him in the best position for him to be successful and the team to be successful, without getting into specifics,” Guerrieri stated.
Tommy Eichenberg, Styles’ old Ohio State teammate, endorsed the change as well. It “would be awesome” to see Styles playing at his position, the former Buckeyes linebacker said reporters during a media conference at the NFL Combine.
Eichenberg remarked, “He’s a really good football player.” “He has demonstrated exceptional man-to-man coverage of slot receivers. Would be amazing if he could play linebacker.
