ESPN REPORT: Another Mega Star Commits To Cincinnati Bengals.

Cincinnati — Spotrac revealed the estimated contracts for several of the NFL’s best wide receivers, and they predicted that Ja’Marr Chase would sign a $120 million, four-year deal.

Cincinnati can make him an offer in the off-season.

“Injuries to himself & to QB Joe Burrow over the past two seasons have limited Chase’s ability to reach his max ceiling,” said the piece. “Cincinnati probably pays a king’s ransom to see that their offense occurs quickly. Even though the 24-year-old still has two years and $26.6 million left on his rookie contract through 2025, it’s still worth talking about. Spotrac predicts a $70 million guarantee over the next three seasons, which includes consecutive $20 million bonuses to stave off cap hits as this competitive team’s overall cost keeps rising.”

Cincinnati would be negligent if they did not get Chase to sign an extension as soon as possible. Playing at premium spots with excellent, proven NFL players makes the game rather simple: As soon as it is humanly possible, pay them.

If the Bengals had extended Jessie Bates III or Tee Higgins as soon as possible during the first window, they would have had a great deal. For such ability, the cost will only increase.
