The Chiefs’ three best chances to qualify for the 2024 Pro Bowl.

Since Andy Reid joined the team in 2013 and helped make the Chiefs the most consistently successful team in the league during that time, the team has become accustomed to having at least six players or more selected to the Pro Bowl each year. The Chiefs are undoubtedly in the prime of their franchise life, and even with their current winning streak behind them, the future is still very bright.

Nevertheless, despite going younger on both sides of the ball and cutting some bad contracts this offseason, the Chiefs’ season has been a little off. This was somewhat of a transitional season as the Chiefs made the decision to pare down and clear the slate for the upcoming offseason. Results reflect that, even in the Pro Bowl voting.

The Chiefs have fewer “sure things” than they have in a while as fans vote for their favorite players in the NFL’s version of an all-star exhibition. Some of the numbers are out. As an interesting point to note, Tua Tagovailoa isn’t even the favorite to start at quarterback in the AFC, unlike Patrick Mahomes.

Who’s in then? Well, nothing is certain yet, but if historical patterns and recent voting data can guide us toward wise predictions, there are a few clear favorites to be identified.

Since entering the league, the third-year center for the Chiefs has been nothing short of extraordinary—that is, if any center can truly live up to such a claim.

Along with linebacker Nick Bolton, the Chiefs selected Humphrey with their second of two second-round picks in the 2021 NFL Draft, and he has been an integral part of the offense ever since. Since Andy Reid took over, the K.C. team has had an impressive run of centers, including Rodney Hudson and Mitch Morse, but Humphrey is the best of them all.
