Four new hires officially become members of A.J. Hinch’s coaching staff for the Detroit Tigers in 2024.

Tennessee’s Nashville The Detroit Tigers of 2024 have four new coaches on their staff.

Manager A.J. Hinch has hired assistant hitting coach Lance Zawadzki, first base coach Anthony Iapoce, third base coach Joey Cora, and catching coach Ryan Sienko to the Tigers.

Hinch stated on Monday at Nashville’s Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, “All of these guys make players better.” “They’ve all had experience with development. Each of them has a background that matches. To be the greatest at what they do, they’ve all put in a ton of work.”

Gary Jones, a major league coach for the Tigers, was also moved to the bench after coaching third base the previous season. Teaching team fundamentals and facilitating communication for in-game challenges between the dugout and replay room are among his duties.
