It has been discussed for months that Bronny and LeBron will play together, but will it actually happen?
Regarding whether Bronny James and LeBron James would be suiting up together, there has been a lot of discussion and speculation. LeBron has made it known that he wants to play with his son on whatever team selects him in the draft.
The Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly considering signing Bronny, even though we doubt they would be ready to do so in order to keep LeBron in purple and gold. The problem is that Bronny has a tough exterior, something a number of NBA executives have brought up. Not everyone, though, is in agreement.
There’s a circulating rumor that Bronny might declare for the 2024 NFL Draft. An executive says there’s a good chance he’ll declare, but it would also depend on LeBron being involved.
“I’m not sure if he’s committed to coming out. However, I am aware that some teams would think about selecting him in the hopes of signing LeBron. Though I don’t think it’s likely, some teams may choose to adopt that strategy. A team would need to have space or assets that the Lakers would want. Everyone, in my opinion, is gearing up for him to enter the draft. I mean it when I say that many clubs will declare they would choose him if there is even a remote possibility that LeBron will be joining them. Thus, I’ll be shocked if he doesn’t come in. I’m not sure if he will stay in.”

LeBron said he would support whichever team selected his kid in the draft, which is why rumors started to circulate about this story. Naturally, that sparked rumors about which team would be most likely to get LeBron through trade.
James Sr. is still performing at a high level at the age of 39. He would bring in a top talent to any trade. The aforementioned executive added that a lot of executives are getting ready for Bronny to declare for the draft and that they would seize the opportunity to select him if LeBron was even “1%” likely to follow.
LeBron and Bronny might play together in the future, but Bronny might benefit from continuing to play and grow in college for one more season at least.
