Report: The Brisbane Broncos key player is been suspended from all sports for placing a bets against…
Tommy Talau sustained an ankle injury that ended the game on Sunday afternoon, meaning the Sea Eagles could lose another winger before Round 3.
Coach Anthony Seibold stated that Talau would undergo an MRI on Monday. Talau was making his club debut as a replacement for Jason Saab, who is expected to miss six weeks due to a hamstring injury. At this point, the club is uncertain if Talau broke or dislocated his bone.
Heilum Luki, a back-row player for the Cowboys, was forced to sit out the first half of the game on Saturday due to a high ankle sprain. He is currently awaiting scans to ascertain the extent of the injury.
Adam Reynolds, the captain of the Broncos, will be sidelined for a while as scans indicate he has worsened a knee injury from Round 1.
Despite being in discomfort, Reynolds participated in Thursday night’s victory over the Rabbitohs. According to the team, Reynolds will make a return later this week.
According to scans, Adam suffered a mild MCL strain in Round 1, according to Broncos head of performance Dave Ballard.
“Our top priority is making sure he is prepared to go when he returns because we still have the entire season ahead of us.”
