For the first game of their weekend series, the Hurricanes welcomed the Florida Gators to town, and they defeated Miami 7-3 to take the lead at JD Arteaga.

The Gators, led by three home runs, limited the Hurricanes to just three runs and seven hits on Friday night. Florida’s six players each contributed one RBI, demonstrating their teamwork. Ryan Slater earned the victory for Florida while the Gators had ten strikeouts on the mound.
