According to reports from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Bills are removing defensive back Siran Neal as well after cutting safety Jordan Poyer and making other noteworthy changes.

“The Bills are releasing DB Siran Neal, who was due nearly $3 million in base salary this season, according to a source. This will free up more cap space,” tweeted Rapoport.

MARCH 4 BILLS, TRADE BY BEARS Before the start of the new league season, the Buffalo Bills are making a noteworthy change.

The Bills have traded offensive tackle Ryan Bates to the Chicago Bears, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. In exchange, Buffalo will get a future fifth-round selection.

The Bills declared that they have reached an agreement to trade OL Ryan Bates to Chicago for a fifth-round pick in 2024. Subject to a physical inspection, the trade will be finalized on March 13,” Schefter tweeted.

JAN 28 BILLS EX BROWNS HIRED KEN DORSEY After losing to the Denver Broncos in Week 10, former offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills Ken Dorsey was fired and moved on to another position in the NFL.

The Browns are selecting Dorsey to succeed head coach Kevin Stefanski as their next offensive coordinator, according to reports from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

“Cleveland has a new coordinator: Browns are hiring former Bills’ offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey as their offensive coordinator, per sources.” Schefter sent out a tweet.

Only a few hours had passed since the Bills removed Joe Brady’s temporary tag and declared him the team’s full-time offensive coordinator. After Dorsey was fired, he took over and guided the Bills to a 7-2 record (including a postseason appearance).

DOLPHINS REQUESTS A BILLS LBs COACH ON JAN 26 One of the division’s most important defensive assistants may be leaving the Buffalo Bills.

The Miami Dolphins have asked to interview Buffalo Bills linebackers coach Bobby Babich for the defensive coordinator position that is currently open, according to reports from Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. On Wednesday, Miami and seasoned defensive play-caller Vic Fangio called it quits.

Babich has previously had an interview with the New York Giants and was also asked by the Green Bay Packers. Babich is clearly targeting a career promotion, therefore it’s unlikely Buffalo would keep him on staff for the upcoming campaign.
