Emery is not getting the most out of the elite player.

Unai Emery, the manager of Aston Villa, is undoubtedly doing a great job, but that does not mean that his management style is appropriate for the entire team. It’s true that one player at Villa Park isn’t getting the most out of his abilities.

In 40 games for his new team, he has seven goals and seven assists, which is not bad for a young player moving to a new league but still falls short of his potential.

He finished the previous season with 14 goals and 11 assists in 48 games for Leverkusen.

Diaby has occasionally aggravated the Villa supporters. Despite his eventual goal in Thursday’s 4-0 Conference League triumph over Ajax for Emery’s team, he made it obvious why he is struggling under the Spaniard.
