EPL Roundup: Brighton wins its first league title in 2024 while Newcastle and Everton both hang on at home.

Luton Town, assisted by three players of Nigerian descent (Eliejah Adebayo, Ross Barkley, and Gabriel Osho), equaled a 42-year-old record by scoring four goals in an EPL game for the second time in a row since September 1982.

With a 4–4 draw against Newcastle, Luton Town was able to earn a vital point in their fight to stay above the drop.

Newcastle was ahead thanks to a brace from Sean Longstaff. Gabriel Osho then equalized, and Longstaff gave Newcastle a two-point lead before Ross Barkley pulled one back for Luton.

Elijah Adebayo’s goal and Carlton Morris’s penalty gave the visitors their first lead, but goals from Harvey Barnes and Kieran Trippier in the 73rd minute gave Newcastle a point.
