Going into the 2024 NBA Playoffs, the Boston Celtics had almost secured both home court advantage in the East and the top ranking in the league. All the signs point to Boston having a deep postseason run that fans hope results in a championship.

With news that Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid is expected to return to the court, it appears that the Celtics’ road back to the championship game may have just become much more difficult.
