Sad News: The Seahawks head coach reacts to the sudden death of his key player.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, South Carolina quarterback Spencer Rattler visited Seattle on Tuesday.

On Monday, Rattler paid the Texans a visit.

His expected draft position is third round.

With Geno Smith and Sam Howell at quarterback, the Seahawks require a third quarterback.

Rattler, who was named the Senior Bowl MVP in January, completed passes for the Gamecocks last season totaling 3,186 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions.

Ratter went 28–14 as a starter in his collegiate career at Oklahoma and South Carolina, throwing for 10,807 yards, 77 touchdowns, and 32 interceptions.

Rattler is also a player that the Vikings and Broncos are interested in.

Max Pircher, an offensive tackle from Italy, was signed by the Seahawks to provide their offensive line some more depth. In the NFL’s International Player Pathway Program, Pircher played for the Los Angeles Rams prior to spending the previous season with the Detroit Lions. The initiative was started in 2017 with the goal of providing sportsmen with the chance to play for NFL teams worldwide. Before signing a contract with the Rams in 2021, Pircher played American football with the Swarco Raiders in Austria and the Hildesheim Invaders in Germany.

Bryant Koback, a running back with Seattle’s practice squad the previous season, was placed on the reserve/retired list.
