WNBA Teams Moving Caitlin Clark Games To…

The craze for Caitlin Clark is still going strong, and it’s now helping the local economy and WNBA teams.

Single-game and season ticket sales for the Indiana Fever, who own the first pick in this year’s WNBA draft and are undoubtedly going to select Clark, have increased dramatically already.

Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indiana will host the home opener against the New York Liberty. It is anticipated that 19,000 tickets will be sold, with the lowest priced ticket currently available on StubHub costing at least $70 up in the nosebleeds.

Not only the home crowd, though, has embraced the newly discovered Clark mayhem.

STARDOM OF CAITLIN CLARK
Due to increased demand, the Las Vegas Aces announced that they will be moving their home opener against Clark and the Fever to the T-Mobile Arena. Seven thousand more seats can be accommodated in the new arena.

Even though Iowa lost to South Carolina 87-75 in the NCAA Women’s Championship Final, it’s evident that supporters are eager to see Clark when she visits their area.

Thanks to her overwhelming dominance this past year, Clark not only became well-known but also served as an inspiration to a new generation of basketball players around the nation.

Along with Clark and her numerous sponsorship and endorsement deals, it has also contributed to the financial success of local economies like Iowa City, which saw an increase in revenue of over $80 million as a result of the publicity.

Will casual fans see Clark play in WNBA games this season? That is the big question.

They will be able to watch: the Indiana Fever will now be featured in 36 out of 40 nationally broadcast games on ESPN.
