Arizona State University is compelled to relinquish ten victories in an NCAA case, putting Raiders’ Antonio Pierce in hot water and facing penalties.

Antonio Pierce, the recently appointed head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, is embroiled in a major scandal. Because of his time at Arizona State University, the coach is at the center of a contentious NCAA investigation. Bill Williamson unleashed the first shocking revelation when he retweeted Chris Karpman’s shocking exposé of ASU’s chaotic recruitment practices: “#Raiders coach Antonio Pierce was reportedly involved in this and he reportedly resigned from ASU in wake of it two years ago.”

According to the allegations, Pierce and former ASU head coach Herm Edwards hosted recruits during the COVID-19 “dead period,” which is obviously against NCAA regulations. Pierce resigned from ASU in 2021, avoiding a full-on blitz, but he was far from safe.
