Head coach Pat Kelsey of the Charleston men’s basketball team is moving to Louisville with a third player. It’s Cincinnati’s 6-foot-3, 180-pound junior guard Kobe Rodgers, who on Friday declared his commitment to the Cardinals. Jeff Goodman of The Field of 68 broke the story on Thursday. In his message on what was once Twitter, Rodgers stated that he intends to redshirt in the 2024–2025 season. During the No. 13-seeded Cougars’ NCAA Tournament opening round loss to No. 4 Alabama, he sustained a leg injury. James Scott, a freshman forward, and Reyne Smith, a junior guard, are the other former Charleston players who have joined U of L.Head coach Pat Kelsey of the Charleston men’s basketball team is moving to Louisville with a third player.
