There’s a significant position in men’s collegiate basketball that has to be filled. Who wants it, though? On Tuesday, John Calipari formally resigned from his post as head coach of Kentucky and began his new one as head coach of SEC foe Arkansas on Wednesday. Many well-known coaches have been connected to the Kentucky position in the days since word started to spread, and many of them have already declined it. Nate Oats of Alabama and Scott Drew of Baylor decided to remain with their respective teams. Dan Hurley, the two-time defending national champion, is probably going to follow suit at UConn.
