It seems that Matt LaFleur, the head coach of the Green Bay Packers, worked out a little too hard during the offseason. LaFleur gave some background on Friday after undergoing surgery in April to repair a torn pectoral. He admitted to the reporters that he “lost a fight with the bench press.” When he entered the 2024 NFL Draft with his left arm in a sling, fans became aware that something was wrong. The 44-year-old has previously sustained an injury more commonly associated with one of his players. When he was playing basketball in 2019, he tore his Achilles tendon. Perhaps LaFleur’s torn pec is a lucky charm because the Packers went on to win 13-3 and make it to the NFC championship game that season.
