The Cleveland Cavaliers, sans Jarrett Allen (rib injury), were in free fall in the first half of Game 7 against the Orlando Magic. Still, they found themselves in the third quarter, on their way to a victory that would be remembered in Wine and Gold history – when Donovan Mitchell and his teammates salvaged the day. The match saw five lead changes and six ties. In the first quarter, the Cavaliers were limited to five field goals and five turnovers, and they also gave up 13 consecutive points to the Orlando Magic. The Cavs were then down 18 points past the halfway point of the second quarter. A late burst by Mitchell, Sam Merrill, and Caris LeVert cut the deficit to 10 points.
