The On3 “Top 100 Players in College Football for the 2024 Season” was released on Thursday and includes players like running back Damien Martinez, middle linebacker Francisco Mauigoa, quarterback Cam Ward, and edge rusher Rueben Bain. On the list, Bain is the only original Miami football signee.
Bain committed to Miami in the class of 2023. Miami acquired Mauigoa in the 2023 offseason. In January, Ward moved to Miami, and in April, Martinez became a member of the Hurricanes. Mauigoa is ranked 81st, Martinez is ranked 83rd, Ward is ranked 55th, and Bain is ranked 29th among college football players in 2024.
Behind Tennessee’s James Pearce, the team’s best player overall, and Penn State’s Abdul Carter, ranked 19th, Bain is the third-ranked edge rusher. Bain is the ACC’s top-ranked player as well.
