Warriors player Klay Thompson agrees a deal with rivals.

The Golden State Warriors will consider their options going forward with Klay Thompson now that their season is ended. Thompson is a free agent who will start the 2024 NBA Offseason. Sam Amick of The Athletic reports that a competitor of the Warriors has Thompson in their sights.

The Dallas Mavericks are a team that The Athletic should keep an eye on as a potential suitor, according to league sources, Amick reported in an article from April 17.

Amick also mentioned that during talks, Grayson Allen’s contract extension with the Suns will come up.

“Thompson’s team will undoubtedly bring up the fact that a 28-year-old role player recently signed a contract worth an additional $70 million, making the Phoenix Suns’ decision to provide Grayson Allen a four-year extension on Monday equally pertinent data point.
