With a fever debut, Caitlin Clark gets welcomed into the WNBA.

Caitlin Clark made her WNBA debut on Tuesday night against the Connecticut Sun. Her first quarter performance was lackluster as she went down without scoring and was called for two early fouls. However, she turned things around in the second quarter, scoring seven points, including her first basket as an official WNBA player. About halfway through the second quarter, Clark had her “welcome to the WNBA” moment when she went up for a layup and collided with a defender, sending her to the floor with a significant amount of force. Although she appeared to be in pain, she quickly got back up.
