NEW YORK (AP) — Alec Bohm of the Philadelphia Phillies, a third baseman, is sitting out the first three games due to discomfort in his left hamstring. The Phillies were awaiting the findings of Bohm’s MRI on Wednesday. Manager of Philadelphia Rob Thomson stated that it was premature to determine if Bohm would end up on the injured list. For the same reason, Bohm missed Sunday night’s setback in Atlanta. Monday was a holiday in Philadelphia. With the bat ninth on Wednesday night against the New York Mets, Edmundo Sosa was scheduled to open at third.
