With fewer than nine minutes remaining, Kentucky overcame a nine-point deficit. A reported 20,323 spectators watched the Wildcats battle back to defeat the Razorbacks 111-102 at Rupp Arena. The Razorbacks had not lost a game where they scored 100 points or more since February 10, 1991, when No. 1 UNLV defeated No. 2 Arkansas 112-105 at Barnhill Arena in Fayetteville.
