Jared Keeso Fears the worst as all-star suffers neck injury.

Lead by showrunner and star Jared Keeso as Wayne, the burly roughest guy in all of Letterkenny, the hicks are the farmers, ag kids, and the gang that gathers stones from the fields on Sundays.

His younger sister Katy, portrayed by Michelle Mylett, described their relationship as siblings, saying, “We saw it from the start. She’s a strong chick. That kind of progression has been observed. She is the town’s Queen Bee, and she has put up some barriers. In the relationship with [brother] Wayne, she is quite powerful. Wayne is the most resilient man. It’s nice that they have this reciprocal regard for each other. However, she is a fallible person with ups and downs. Thus, she has a lovely dynamic when she receives support from the people in her life and returns that support. It’s been entertaining to act out and moving to witness.”

Mylett brought up the crucial scene in season 8 when she discovered Katy’s boyfriend, Dierks, was unfaithful with the help of the Letterkenny villagers. Wayne sent his skids, hockey players, and hicks from Letterkenny to Dierks’s residence to, quote, “beat the bleep out of Dierks.” According to Mylett, “Obviously, that scene with Dierks where they all run from the trucks to come to Katy’s aid encapsulated what I think the show is about staying loyal to the people in your life.”

The “Letterkenny Problems” and the made-up town of Letterkenny attracted viewers from the lower 48 states to numerous Canadian television talents. In addition, it gave rise to the group’s live touring performances and even sold branded apparel, liquor, and a hit offshoot called “Shoresy,” all of which can be viewed streaming on Hulu.

Regarding her most recent visit to Boise and the lower 48, Mylett remarked, “We all had a great time on that tour. For two months, we spent our time touring North America in this enormous tour bus. We had a great time, and everything was truly unique and bizarre. We would surely love to repeat that, in my opinion. It was really strange what a TV show did.”
