American rock group Red Hot Chilli Peppers (RHCP) was founded in Los Angeles, California, in 1983. The group, which is well-known for fusing punk, psychedelic, and rock music, has grown to become one of modern rock’s most prominent and prosperous acts. Anthony Kiedis (vocals), Flea (bass guitar), Chad Smith (drums), and John Frusciante (guitar) make up the iconic lineup. Flea’s funky bass lines, Frusciante’s inventive guitar work, and Kiedis’s unique singing style are what define their sound. Their reputation was cemented with classics like “Under the Bridge” and “Give It Away” from their breakthrough album, *Blood Sugar Sex Magik* (1991). With songs like “Scar Tissue,” “Californication,” and “By the Way,” their subsequent albums, *Californication* (1999) and *By the Way* (2002), cemented their place in rock history.
