Derrick White found himself at the center of an altercation during the intense University of Colorado vs. Colorado State football game this past Saturday. White, a former University of Colorado standout, attended the game in Fort Collins to cheer on his Buffaloes, but the day took a violent turn as tempers flared with rival fans.
- Witnesses at the game reported that everything seemed to be going smoothly for White in the first half. Dressed in CU gear and seated among Colorado State (CSU) fans, White was simply enjoying the rivalry matchup. However, tensions began to rise when the Buffaloes, led by Deion Sanders, took control of the game in the third quarter. Verbal exchanges between White and some Rams fans escalated quickly, and then things turned physical.Â
