A fire broke out at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier today, causing the evacuation of approximately 300 people. The blaze, which occurred around 10 a.m., was swiftly brought under control by the London Fire Brigade. Emergency services were on site for about an hour as firefighters worked to extinguish the flames.

 

The fire was reported in a small area of the stadium, and although it caused some damage to an air compressor, it was contained quickly. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported, and Tottenham Hotspur staff efficiently evacuated everyone present, including employees and visitors. The stadium, which is also used as a vaccination center, has since been deemed safe, allowing fans and visitors to resume activities at the nearby club shop and Skywalk attraction.

 

While the incident caused momentary disruption, authorities have praised the quick response by on-site personnel and the London Fire Brigade. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, though early reports suggest it was likely an electrical fault.
