The Tykes have played 30 games and accrued 56 points. They are currently tied for fourth place in the League One standings with Peterborough United, and four points outside of the automatic promotion spots.
Barnsley’s great season has been made possible by their strong play at both sides of the field. They now have the second-best attack in the division with 54 goals scored, while their 34 goals conceded rank them sixth in the league.
