Report: After Quarreling With The Head Coach, The Georgia Bulldogs football key Player Departed From The Team.
LAS VEGAS: On Sunday night, Mecole Hardman scored a 3-yard touchdown in overtime to help the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the San Francisco 49ers 25–22.
After finishing with three receptions for 57 yards, Hardman was a member of the winning team along with fellow former Bulldog Malik Herring. Herring contributed a tackle to the Chiefs’ triumph at the end.
Chris Conley, a 49ers receiver, downed a punt on the one-yard line, had two special teams tackles, and had one grab for eighteen yards. San Francisco also had defensive lineman Robert Beal and tight end Charlie Woerner, who was a single special teams tackle.
It has now happened 23 times in a row that at least one former Georgia player has played for a Super Bowl team: five former Bulldogs were active in Super Bowl LVIII.
