Report: The Miami Hurricanes football star player is been suspended from all sports for placing a bet against…

The defensive line coach at Miami, Jason Taylor, received high marks from Brad Crawford of 247Sports in his piece “College football recruiting: Signing Day reveals nation’s 10 best recruiters in 2024.” Following an incredibly quiet National Signing Day last Wednesday, Taylor came in fourth place nationally in the final recruiting rankings.

In the 2024 class, Taylor was the top-ranked recruiter who was mostly employed by the ACC. Fran Brown, the head coach at Syracuse, was the class’s best recruiter overall after being hired in December. Brown had previously served as Georgia’s defensive backs coach.

In the 2024 class, Taylor was credited with getting Miami to sign five elite athletes. Three five-star signees are among them. Miami signed the strongest 2024 DL class—and then some. In his second full season as an assistant coach for college football, Taylor achieved the feat of ranking among the top five recruiters.

Taylor was able to attract top talents because DL had the opportunity to play for a Hall of Fame player at their position. Four of the five 2024 Miami signees that were considered blue-chip prospects were primarily recruited by Taylor. If Miami develops the signings from the 2024 class, they will have a strong defensive line in a few years.

The dossier Taylor: After working under Mario Cristobal at Miami, the ACC’s top recruiter concluded the early signing period with multiple high-end commits. The nation’s No. 7 overall talent, Justin Scott of Chicago (Ill.) St. Ignatius, is credited to Taylor as his secondary recruiter. Taylor was instrumental in Scott’s decision to sign with the Hurricanes after switching from Ohio State in November.

Four-star talents Booker Pickett Jr. and Elias Rudolph, as well as five-star signees Armondo Blount and Marquise Lightfoot, were mostly recruited by Taylor. Scott’s main recruiter was Joe Salave’a, the co-DL coach. The Miami football program greatly benefited from flipping Scott from Ohio State.

Miami wide receivers coach Kevin Beard was ranked second in the ACC, and Taylor was ranked first among recruits for 2024. Mario Cristobal was hired by Miami due of his exceptional recruitment skills. Employing top recruiters has been a priority for Cristobal. Taylor is the one who has embodied that the most.

The Miami football program greatly benefited from flipping Scott from Ohio State. Taylor might potentially become a head coach after serving as a defensive coordinator. When hiring a head coach, sports directors consider all the qualities that Taylor possesses. Taylor is a fortunate addition to Miami’s team.
